Where we Meet:
To join the Edmund Ruffin Fire Eaters, SCV Camp 3000, at our supper meeting held on the first Wednesday of each month at six o’clock, meet at the Bass Pro Shop on Lakeridge Parkway in Hanover. Take I-295 to I-95 North, stay in the right lane. Take Exit 89, Lewistown Road, West. From Lewistown Road, heading West, at the first traffic light that you will see, turn left on Lakeridge Parkway (there is a large sign for the Winding Brook development at the corner of Lakeridge and Lewistown. Bass Pro is just one half mile South on Lakeridge Parkway, on the left.
Coat and tie are optional, but feel free to come straight from work or bring family and friends along to enjoy the Confederate era history program that begins after supper has been served. While full membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans requires a documented relationship by you to a Confederate era Veteran, the Fire Eaters welcome Associate Members who have not yet researched, or may not have, a Confederate ancestor.
